Thanks to its balanced characteristics of good modulation, solid disc life and reduced drag, the RS 42 suits high-use competition where consistency and control matter more than maximum bite. Whether you’re running club racing, touring car duties or formula-class entries, the RS 42 is a strong choice when you want dependable braking, proven materials and race-bred pedigree. While this compound has been replaced in most applications and if your preferred pad shape is no longer available, we recommend the RSL19 pads as a suitable alternative.
